Budapest Ritmo Conference aims to create a Central and Eastern European forum where participants exchange ideas and discuss issues of world music actors. Topics include: funding stability, sustainable presence on the music export market, country branding, etc. New trends will be drawn up, world music’s changing role in the cultural industry will be outlined. Last but not least, Béla Bartók’s remarkable influence on world music will serve as one of the major subjects.
